Descending into Heights

Sculpting light into matter

Retreat

Inspired by the work of

Carl Gustav Jung

Facilitated by: Milly Stockfish
Jungian Psychotherapist
founder & head of the Israeli Center for Integrative Group Counseling

In Jung’s garden, upon a riverbank, stands a large square rock – its facets hold a secret code that Jung chiseled diligently into the stone over many months and which he had unveiled on his 75th birthday.
The carving process, Jung had said, was mostly spontaneous and only in retrospect, did it become clear that it holds the essence of Jung’s personal as well as professional work.

ABOUT THE RETREAT

This year, our retreat will take place in the desert; a place of beginnings, of genesis, a place which holds inner holiness yet to be unveiled.

Utilizing Jungian-inspired practices including Active Imagination, meditating, working with color, movement, inspiring content from Jung’s writings, and sharing a learning space, we too may meet the holy hidden treasures etched within each of us.

Join us on this unique inner journey through the alchemical process to discover ancient powers within us.

Facilitator: Milly Stockfish

During the retreat we will practice:

Active Imagination

Authentic movement

Meditation

Writing

Color

And Healing Sounds

MORE

It seemed for a moment that the ground was inviting us to ask again. To ask about the known, the defined, the knowing itself. It seemed for a moment that the motion of the search itself might be changing directions and that perhaps, for a moment, we could feel how that which is outside is actually inside.

Recognizing and knowing this tension can bring solace and peace to stormy ego regions or in other words, bring more peace and encourage creativity in our lives.

These days, our connection and unity with the soul is continuously threatened and our ability to do what’s only natural – to connect to our deep archetypal roots for the sake of our own wholeness and well-being—has been dulled and muted until it is rarely available to us. We have become reliant on others, on external sources of information and 'cures'.

Through working with meditation, inner visions, movement, sound, and writing processes, these hidden natural treasures within us can become available to us again and guide us to wholeness. In his work, Jung passed down to us a “map” that shows us how to approach these visions, how to materialize them, how to allow them to lead us down to our inner world, revealing its tendencies and needs and through that, to undo and improve the tightness, heaviness, and chaos which burden our lives so that we can be whole.
